Conflict is an inevitable part of human interaction — present in every biological, social, cultural, political, and economic relationship. At its essence, conflict represents competing interests, needs, values, or perspectives. While it is often viewed negatively, conflict itself is not inherently harmful. When managed effectively, it can drive innovation, strengthen relationships, and enhance organizational performance.
At Oakmont, whether via zoom or in-person, we work with businesses, government organizations, and individuals, to transform the way conflict is understood and addressed. Our approach focuses on solving disputes creatively, constructively, and confidentially, allowing us to reduce the costs associated with conflict while maximizing its potential to create clarity, collaboration, and lasting value.
In short, our mediation services can be defined as a structured, confidential process facilitated by a neutral third party — the mediator — who assists participants in communicating effectively to reach mutual understanding and resolution. As mediators, we do not impose opinions or decisions but instead, we guide the parties toward finding their own agreement. All mediation discussions are strictly confidential, promoting open communication and trust. The mediator will not share any information without the parties’ consent, ensuring integrity throughout the process.
Our mediation services are perfect for a variety of areas, including:
Real Estate
Personal injury
Labor and employment disputes
Insurance practices
Breach of contracts
Business disputes and litigation
Family and elder matters
Educational disputes

Disputes within the real estate sector can quickly become complex and costly—particularly when disagreements halt major developments or delay transactions for extended periods.
Landlord–tenant conflicts are often among the most challenging. Through our mediation, parties can achieve faster, more cost-effective resolutions compared to traditional litigation. This approach not only minimizes disruption and expense but also promotes collaboration and helps projects move forward with greater alignment and mutual confidence.
